Video of guys digging up old WWII weapons

Post by pacolo90 »

Hello everyone, I've been off the forum for months. Haven't bought a Mosin or any firearm for at least a year either. Just wanted to share this video I saw on youtube of a couple guys digging up WWII weapons from the Eastern Front. At one point they even find a Mosin PU with a straight bolt!

There is a lot of this going on over there, sometimes what they dig up is the dead. I used to have a link to one were the guy tugs, hacks, and chops what turns out to be a land mine out of the ground. It didn't blow up, that would have been an epic fail video if it had.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

Welcome to the board, yes, the weapons are old, even antique, but automatic weapons dug up or not are still very strictly controlled by every European government that I am aware of.

Interesting, if you watch they find a PU sniper. The scope was gone but the mount/rings were still there. The bolt was in place as well... with a straight handle. I wonder if some soldier swapped it into his rifle...
