Ever come across a 1948 dated Mosin?
Ever come across a 1948 dated Mosin?
I was curious if any from very late if not the last year of production have come up?

Yes, m44s. A few 50's dated 91/30s on '48 date receivers have turned up too.

I've only seen the M-44's. I would really like to see a late 40's or 50's 9130 though. I thought '45 was basically the end of the Russian 9130 builds. I suppose, as always, they had pieces and parts laying around, not to go to waste. If anyone has some of these, I'd sure like to see them.

I picked up my M44 at a local gunstore. Here is a photo of the arsenal mark for you:

I have a pristine 1946 dated 91/30 in a laminate stock with a mirror bore. I know not the year you requested specifically but I can post pics if you'd like to see

I've got a '47 M91\30 non-PU in the showcase. Got to take a look at my server though, the photos are loading slowly for me today. I'd love to find a '50s era one with the newer Izhevsk logo but I'm more than happy with my '47!
