If it fires black powder, it is discussed here.

Revolvers

Post by Jbob »

Here's a few pictures of my BP revolvers. A lot of fun shooting and pretty accurate. Looks like the brass needs cleaned again.
This one I built from a kit about 40+ years ago. I think they cost me less than $30 back then.

This one was a gift from an older friend to remember him by, he's gone now and nothing could ever buy it.
It's dated 1963...

This one was a gift from my mom who just passed away in Feb. I know, only in West Virginia would a guy get a gun gift from mom. She given me 3 or 4 over the years and they're now treasures to me. She'd kick my azz if she saw that dirty brass on this one..

I like that look on the brass. I have a brass frame 1858 Remington that was made by Pietta in 71 and the brass took that long to get the look it has. I can,t spiff it up now. Nice revolvers you have there.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

That is quite a nice buntline isn't it? Target sights and everything. That would go well with mine. I better start looking for one.

I've only had it out plinking once and it did really well. The solid frame revolvers are the way to go.
