From: http://www.tague.at/pistolen/en_index.h ... n_cz27.htm

"Böhmische" variation, a so called "Dual-Tone" piece. Slide blued, frame phosphated. Interesting thing to this one: No serial on the right side of the frame. Based on own researches is this only in the serial range 20,000-245,000.

Characteristics:

Legend:

slide top: BÖHMISCHE WAFFENFABRIK A.G. IN PRAG

slide left: Pistole Modell 27 Kal. 7,65

Finish:
slide blued, good finish

frame phosphated, good finish

small parts strawed

Grips: one piece chequered Bakelit with CZ-Logo
Serial number:
6-digit number on top of slide

no number on frame

no number on barrel

(only in serial range ~ 200000-245000)

Acceptance stamp:
E/WaA 76 on right frame

E/WaA 76 on barrel

Test proof stamp:
E HK

Very nice. I see your magazine baseplate is nice and flat. Most that I've seen are typically bent up in the front. Enjoy.

Nice! :vcool:

I had a cz24 in .380 that I really liked; bought it from a retired cop for $50, had it for a couple years, and sold it at a gun show for a good profit. It was very accurate. I was surprised how accurate a .380 could be. Mine was Waffenampt, but was all blued.

Nice-looking rig. I have one very similar. You can see my pictures in this forum on the next page in the topic titled "cz27".
I love the weapon. It's a great shooter, and is very accurate. Good luck, and enjoy it!

A few differences I note. Your grips, as are most, are cracked. Mine, thankfully, are not, but do not have the CZ logos. Not sure if it came that way or if they just wore off. I have the right side serial number where yours does not. Of course the holsters are different, and you have that nice marking on the top of the slide that mine lacks. I also see that your left side access panel, which exposes more of the trigger and hammer mechanism, looks to be screwed on. Mine just slides up and out-of-the-way.

This site shows the major variations in the c27: http://www.tague.at/pistolen/en_index.h ... n_cz27.htm

I know at one point the Germans had the grips made without the CZ.
