I'm wondering if what the woman at Terminus is grilling (who played Tasha Yar on Star Trek) turns out to be Beth (the little blonde sister who was traveling with Daryl).

The chubby mullet scientist looks to me like he is better suited for cooking meth in some backwater town than saving mankind. But this may be the impression the writers want you to get. Everybody remember the scientist from the CDC? White lab coat, clean shaven, professional looking, he looked the part of a scientist. It seemed like he might be the answer to this infection. Then he reveals his wife was the scientist not him. I am wondering if there will be a twist like this with the mullet dude. Everybody looks at him and thinks he's just full of crap and he turns out to be a modern Einstein or something.Longcolt44 wrote:The dude in the ullet may be the hope. He says he knows what caused it and how to cure it..Does anybody but me think TERMINUS is a bad and spooky place. I'm thinking it is a food depot for the Walkers.

He makes a-lot of video game references....which makes me think he's not a real Dr. However, that deal with the map when he had the little latina drive around with his "calculations" makes me question my original idea.....
BTW, didn't the mosin at the end, while they were walking along the tracks seem a bit long for an M44?

Re: Walking dead Mosin
Two years they have been walking around, they can't find decent clothing, weapons, ammo , or food. 95% or better of the population is dead, there should be enough supplies around to last the remaining living at least 20 years or more before nature reclaims most of it. I don't care how much looting was going on during the last days, that looted stuff is still around someplace. They haven't even managed to find one good sized stash of weapons and ammo, even a gunstore. By this time I would long have had my hiding place, and would leave it only to forage for supplies when needed. Wouldn't be in any damn group either, there is no safety in numbers when the guy next to you can die in his sleep and turn zombie and then kill everybody.

Re: Walking dead Mosin
Would seem that a mosin bayonet would be a quiet way to put down a walker out beyond arms reach. Good pick on somebody on the show.
Didn't the guy from the CDC say that the walkers are dying, but just at a slower rate? If you could hunker down somewhere out of the way and avoid drawing attention to yourself, all you would need to do is avoid guys like the guvner that are out scavening whatever they can get however they need to get it.
Think there will be any evolution in the walkers?

I always get a kick out of the AR's with no sights or flip up sights that don't get used.

The lever action rifle that Carl was shooting at the prison didn't have sights. I am gonna be upset if they kill off Beth, especially like that.

The lucky ones died in the first few days, all these survivors are doing is prolonging the suffering, there is only one end to this sort of thing.bunkysdad wrote:The lever action rifle that Carl was shooting at the prison didn't have sights. Re: Walking dead Mosin
I don't think Beth gets it, I'm leaning towards Glenn, Maggie, Carol or Michonne, Glenn or Maggie basically signed a death warrant burning the photo, saying you don't need it any longer, I think they would be that twisted. But Carol might look at the flowers, as an act of penance, or Michonne, because she is the 2nd closest to Rick currently, and they don't necessarily follow the book series.bunkysdad wrote:The lever action rifle that Carl was shooting at the prison didn't have sights. Darrel's crossbow has the mount and rail but no sights, that one kind bugs me, cause it's so obvious.
