Need help with a question...

Post by cjsimoh »

Had my SAR B6P back to the range today. I was having problems with the magazine dropping out, so I tried it today with a new magazine. It's still happening, so I need to send it back to EAA.
Anyway, UPS and FedEx policy is you have to use their overnight service. The cost is $60-$75! For those of you how have had to ship a firearm back, or who ship on a regular basis, is there a less expensive, legitimate way to ship? How do you ship your firearms? Thanks!

From the prices you quoted it looks like you went to or called a franchise store. I have shipped handguns using UPS overnight and it was 1/2 the price you show. You need to go to a UPS or FedEx hub. The franchise stores will bend you over good.

If it is warranty work, Remington and S&W pay shipping both ways, have you talked to them? Not Rem and S&W, but EAA.

I ended up just boxing it up and sending it UPS 2 day air for around $22.
Now I just hope EAA can fix it.
