That's a $15 coupon code & shipping is $17.99 for me so the price is $193.97 which is $10 higher than it was last week. LOL! Just checked Slickguns.com & sure enough SG has a link on there for a case for $157.69 before $17.99 shipping and before the $15 coupon code you shared. Interesting, thanks for the heads up.

This is false. It's been proven that Russia and the Ukraine are not halting exports of ammunition to the US. This is just a nasty rumor started by fear mongers, price gougers, and preppers praying for shtf.

What kind of an asshole prays for SHTF to happen?? Surly anyone who preps for a disaster knows full well what they would be facing should it happen. Prepped or not they have to know how detrimental SHTF would be to their life and well being? Not mall ninja types of course, but real country hard core peppers know, and every one of them that I know is scared shitless at the prospect of having to put their plans and supply's to real use.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I get the feeling there are a large number of people who think they are prepared for SHTF so it wouldn't be a big deal. Loads of supplies, arms, ammo, bunkers, generators, etc. But really, if it lasts more than a week or two and/or you need to move, you're probably screwed in an honest to goodness SHTF scenario.

Then resourcefulness trumps hoards of prepping supplies. I figure if I can't make it with what's in the house already on any given day, I need an additional prep for no more than I/we can carry. The same camp and carry prep works for other more likely things around here like tornadoes.

If the SHTF scenario required living in a small underground bunker with my family and nothing to do, I'm not sure that's better than what's going on outside.

In the 60's it was bomb shelters in case of a nuke attack. I used to think, so you are in a hole in the ground and survive a nuke attack. Every thing on the surface is radioactive for years and where does that leave you? I guess in a hole in the ground! :chuckles:

So, choose instant death (you feel nothing and incinerate), or eventually you have to come out for your sanity and die slowly from radiation poisoning. Hummmm, give me a minute to think about this.

Of coarse, some of us (like OJ Simpson) it's a no brainer. Last as long as you can in a hole dude.

Any port in a storm! When you get older and learn to appreciate any minute of life you will realize just how precious a minute of life regardless of where and how it may occur actually is. Bill :2cents:

I have enough for myself for some time. I regularity check with my neighbors to make sure they are prepared also. That being so when I run out I know where to go.

In was reading an article about the situation in the Ukraine on Fox News of all places, basically about obama's weak wristed response to the vote over the weekend. Any way this paragraph was in there, and I have a feeling its things like this that are the reason these rumors are flying around. As said earlier, it's not Russia who will stop exporting its the us that will stop importing..

"But some argued that the administration should crank up its response now. Singh said that some of the measures the U.S. may be holding on reserve -- like sanctions against the Russian arms industry and other oligarchs -- should be applied soon. "Now we need bolder, swifter action," he told Fox News, describing the current approach as "incrementalism.""

You know maybe it's just me but if were looking at what could possibly become a war, I would think buying as much of the enemy's ammo before hand would be a good thing. I'm just guessing that if we stop buying, the ammo will just pile up and be pointed at us in the future.
