iNDEED WE DO !!

That reminds me of a Franco-Belgian comic book I used to read as a kid about a private eye called Ric Hochet, a play on the word above.

All gross talk don't phase me, I'm a 4 time cancer survivor and just had a stem cell transplant late last year. I have God looking out for me and has yet to let me down. I decided this 91/30 will have to find a new home. It's got bad karma now.

Really? Think how the odds are in your favor. It 'could' happen again but most likely won't.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

congratulations on being a two time survivor, the Big Casino is no joke, but getting it or not is mostly outside of your control unless you smoke or huff asbestos for fun. Being shot by accident is something you can keep to a minimum, it's not the rifles fault, it's yours. forewarned is forearmed, you know now what not to do again, this at least you do have control over.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Having a bullet come back at you is not limited in anyway to steel cased or tipped ammo. It can happen with anything and I have even seen a lead bullet from a black powder hand gun come back when using a bowling pin for a target. It came back with such force it cut the belt loop on my buddies jeans. Generally if I am shooting at steel I want to have a hanging target that will hopefully direct the bullet to the ground at an angle where it will continue the same way I shot it. I have seen some absolutely crazy ricochets while at the range and fully realize it might be fun at the range but it isn't child's play as many try to make of it. Bill :o
