Hi, all
I have been looking for some advice on reloading 7.62 steel cases with steel core ammo to lead cast. I'm new to reloading, I have a 155 gr lee mold and a 185 gr lee also.both are 312. Just want take out the steel and replace with lead just to see if it is better shooting. As I understand the bullets will become 5 to 6 more gr in weight as I add the gas check to it while sizing. By the way I'm sizing them on a 311 die. I own 2 mosins one 1942 other 1928. I also reload shot shells replace shot with steel BBS. Would appreciate any and all advice given. (Oh by the way I own 3 reloading books two Lyman one lee plus other pamphlets )

Hi, my name Brandon. Bought my mosin on black friday. This is my first rifle and I absolutely love it. I found this forum while trying to research my new purchase. Aye taking my sister with me for our first trip to the range with it, I made her a mosin believer as well and now she is looking to get her own.

Hi
I'm also new here, looking and hoping to get more information about the nice mosin nagant rifles that where made before 1945. Have a few in collection and looking to find out more from them.
I will shortly post some pictures and more detailed information. The nicest piece is one from my grandfather that was handed to him right after the war ended. I'll also type that story down a bit later.

Re: New Members, Make your first post here!
Congratulations on the purchase, what type did you buy? I love my M44.
Re: New Members, Make your first post here!
I hear that, I am already looking for my next one and I have been looking towards a T-53. I want one that I can take out a shoot and not worry about scratching the paint job if you know what I mean.
Re: New Members, Make your first post here!
Hey Mike, hope you don't mind me asking what have you got so far with your collection and what type of ammo have you been using? Any pics? I posted a pic of my M44 and I really like it. I will be looking to expand my need for MN's as well. http://www.russian-mosin-nagant-forum.c ... 7&p=301219#mt4130 wrote:Hello my name is Mike and have been buying, shooting, and collecting mosins for about 6 months.
