Another "new" SKS

Post by Modean »

So I went to buy my first Russian SKS last week. The pictures the seller had were dark and other than seeing that the gun was all there, I couldn't tell too much from them. Russian's don't seem to turn up in my area all that often, so I took a chance and made the drive to check this one out. Imagine my surprise when I met up with the seller and saw this:

You have yourself an uncommon combination of a D-Letter Series in a non-refurbished condition. Hardwood stock.

Most of the late-build SKS's were refurbished. Special one, congrats!

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
