Is this just another version of the Marlin 60 and are the parts inter changeable. I picked it up as a project gun with another Marlin 60. The Diamond definitely needs some TLC. I know it will need a recoil buffer and a front trigger guard screw a hammer spring and strut and probably a few other parts. I will break it all down and make a list. My main question is will any Marlin 60 parts work or is there a particular Model and year that I have to get parts from. The serial # starts with an OK######. I cant find a lot about it on the Web. So I am hoping y'all might be able to help.

It probably is the same, but not having had one I am not sure, call Numrich, tell them what you have and they can find the parts for it.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
