Well guys, I finally fired it about a week ago. I have to say, it fires great! Very accurate, can make tight groups when trying. The gun operates pretty smoothly, although there are times when the bolt gets stuck about halfway when your trying to eject the spent round and have to basically hit it up hard to free it. (going from the locked position, not talking about sliding it back). Cleaned it up real good after firing that day. Spent about 100 rounds through it. Never knew a gun would get so hot to the touch on the barrel. Heres a quick video of 10 rounds I made.

Beautiful rifle!! I picked up my 1st 91/30 five days ago and I love it. I wasn't as thorough as you were in breaking everything down. Mines a 43 made at the same arsenal as yours. Have fun with it. :D

I believe your right. Mine came with the bayonet only, and I had to ask about it. I've got a sling and cleaning kit coming in this week.
