Finland Defeats Russia
Finland Defeats Russia
A diffferent sort of Winter or Continuation skirmish? Finland beat Russia 3-1 in mens Olympic hockey. Makes one wonder if the Finns acquired Russian hockey sticks and reworked them into more accurate shooters.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Did they pine-tar the grips?
On Facebook? Check out the non-sporter preservationist group at: OOOPS. Deleted by Facebook because it's evil to even discuss collectible firearms on social media these days.

Lovin the Olympics, our TV has seen nothing else for the past week. The hockey tourney has been epic. Go USA and Go Blackhawks ! Love the Chicago Blackhawks as much as old rifles. Hope to get a Finn rifle someday. ( mandatory MN content for my OT post )

I assume the Finnish hockey stick had a "D" on them.

Eleven wins in a row without a single loss.
I don't care what country you live in but that's impresive.

God played a cruel joke on both the Finns and the Scots. Just look at who he gave them as neighbors!

The first time I saw curling I thought somebody was pushing a bundt cake around a bowling alley.

I'm pretty sure that game was invented by some bored Canadians who made use of the fruit cakes that nobody eats.Longcolt44 wrote:The first time I saw curling I thought somebody was pushing a bundt cake around a bowling alley.
