Nice find  :Drool1: don't lose those pesky little screws in front of the barrel bands, their suppose to be there. They should just back right out, and the screws on the bands just the opposite turn from normal. Right to loose and left to tighten. They don't come all the way out either, just a couple turns to loosen.

Finnish stock makers mark.

Nice find. Sling hangers and all. Not sure what's up with the added springs though.

It started out in Russia. Could have gotten to Finland a couple of different ways. Either captured on Eastern Front and sold to Finland after the war or unlikely captured by the Finns when Russia attacked. They put one of their stocks on it. Who knows from that point on.

Could have been stored in an arsenal in finland at the out break of the war for independence of finland. They seized the rifles inside their borders at the start and it was after 1916.

Love the notches on the stock.

This rifle has score marks, it has harvested soul's, very bad hoodoo, you better send it to me so I can have the ghouls removed :) If not they will cluster around your bed looking down at you while you sleep and argue about what part to eat first. Good find, now get it to me right away, no time to lose !

Remove the pesky little screw as necessary, but don't lose it. It is there for a reason.

Not only that, but the tiny screws are impossible to find replacements for.

JYD's info is correct however as I live in the Soviet Socialist Republic of Marylandstan and JYD is in the SSR of NewYorkistan, shipping would be cheaper to send to me. As a footnote, JYD never returns things until he's out of ammunition for that caliber and I know he has more 7.62x54R than I do by a long shot so let me "exorcise" that rifle. PM sent with address :chuckles: :chuckles: :chuckles:
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

Yes, but use a small enough screwdriver to not mar the screw head.
