So you traded a $100 gun and $20 in ammo for a $200 m44... Yeah you did just fine ;)

Don't know the value of the hi-point 380, but I do like the carbine. The stock looks like one on my polish M44.

Ya I bought the hi-point new locally for 135$. Put 2 boxes thru it and it's been in the safe and I never shoot it. I posted it up on a local site and the dude wanted to trade. He wanted my pistol, box of ammo and 25 bucks. I thought what the hell so I did it

I was also going to say that stock has a Polish look to it. Much like a WZ48 I used to own. Nice.

Heck ya. It looks like a beech stock. Any diamond marks on the right side of the butt?

Looks like beech wood to me, just like my Swedish M96; beautiful grain. You scored.

Sweet. I couldn't find an M44 around my parts if it fell in my lap. The one I want most...
