Mueller Scope on My S&L

Post by snipin101 »

I mounted my new scope on my S&L the other day. I love the way it looks and shoots. I have got to find some matches in NC to shoot it in. Just thought I would share pics of my set up.

That is bad ass.

How were you able to mount the front ring, it doesn't look like there is a rail there? Let us know what you think of the Mueller scope after you hit the range.

Damn! I could see the little green men on Mars with that thing, cooooooooooooooooool :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

I finally got to shoot this gun some the other day. It works great. The scope takes a little getting used to with the eye relief but after that all is great. The glass is clear and I played with it out to 200 yards and the top target turret is nice and when I turned it back it was right back on at 50 yards. This gun is going to be a lot of fun I am thinking. The gun came with peep sights and no rail so I had it drilled and tapped for weaver bases.

Sweet. I had to D&T my Mossberg Chuckster (.22Mag). I wouldn't do it to a MN, but commercial sporters are fair game. I couldn't bear to work on the H&R, so I had to find a proper scope.

Good looking guns you have there. I bet that H&R is a sweet shooter.
