In my part of the country we call "pop", "soda", "coke" - soft drinks. :D :D (and coke can have more than one meaning)

Yea, regional differences in language, down south it's "bless your heart" here in NY it's "F*** You" :)
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I was never a sugar drink drinker, my drink was always unsweet ice tea, made it easier when the Doc said no sugar for you, one less thing to miss.

JYD, you would have made a good southerner. Iced tea is the beverage of choice here in Mississippi.
I had to go to Connecticut for training on some equipment the company I worked for had and ordered
iced tea at a resturant and was informed it was out of season. Ithink I wound up with a coke.

Out of season? Every diner I hit here in NY as well as the Dunkin Donuts has it year round. Dunkin has to be watched carefully or they will dump in a scoop of sugar.Only plus on that is when I go back inside ( use drive up window to avoid donut temptations) and thank them for giving a diabetic a cup full of sugar they have comp'd the drink for me with apology's . MacDonald's has unsweet tea also.
