If it was fitted by Finnish armorors, I would think they considered it a upgrade to the newest and best pistol grip stock, or so it seems to me.

You might need to change the title of this thread from Frankenfinn to Finntastic!

Very nice. I would have bought it in a second. I wish we had some Finnish MN's for sale in Nazi Jersey. Pretty much, my only source for them is GB and Pat Burns. I can't wait to leave this state.

After 40 years of living there I often wonder why I ever stayed that long? What is there to say for a state that has the nerve to charge a leaving tax? Christy's true color is coming out already and I am sure more will come to the surface too. Expensive as heck to live there and for sure not where I wanted to retire. Now WV may have troubles but the gun toting and buying down here reflects the way the constitution should be read. The rifle shows a weapon put into service with what was available which is the way it should be for a Finn assembled product. I would welcome it as is for a collectable rifle. Probably will handle on the range just fine too. Bill

Right... Like that could happen. The likelyhood of finding that M28 stock is remote so enjoy what you have as you have it. Besides, It would cost you dearly if you ever found the correct stock, More than the gun is worth.

I like it just fine the way it is.
What part of the state are you from, Rongo?

I really kind of half joking stated the above about finding another rifle to change them out, but especially now after reading more and thinking a lot more that this should be left just as is.

If it had hardware on it that would be cool. The hardware is the difficult part in getting a different stock. I have seen 28/30 stocks for sale also. Very spendy though.
