Vortex Optics

Post by Sonny »

Santa gave me a Vortex Diamondback 4X12-40 scope...yippy.. :D

I put it on my Marlin XT .17hmr and hopefully I'll be going to the range tomorrow.. :D

So I guess I'm just asking if any of you folks have experience with Vortex optics?

Good or bad I'd love to hear them.

One of the instructors at my Department's range has one on an AR variant. It has not ended up on the bulletin board for sale as is the usual case for products that are "Not Quite Up to Snuff" as they say but are otherwise still usable. The Real junk gets "Professionally Bad Mouthed"

Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, As a second hand observer I would say they are OKAY! Nice set up my the way.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

My only experience is a Vortex SPARC red dot sight that I have on my Arsenal AK. It has been very good, I have no complaints, and the price was right.

Vortex is good stuff.
