Can you identify this?

Post by Longcolt44 »

This is not from the web, I did it myself. It is very gun related.

Looks like a pistol bullet after it meets some steel.
“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

A bore shot, inside the cartridge case shot, scope shot? Down the drain shot?
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Chamber shot, the peephole in the Lawn Nazi's front door, down the spark plug tunnel in a 426 Hemi head?

Chamber shot. I bought a endoscope, it won't do bores as the camera head is 30mm dia. I really bought to look at chambers and chamber faces. This is a shot of the chamber face of my 1918 Enfield MK III. You can view everything on the computer and take pictures if you want to keep the view. Under 30 bucks. I still need to learn how to fine tune it.

I'll be curious to see how it performs.. I've spent $30 on much less useful things. Could have used that on my 40' Tula with the burr.

After you reach 50 years old, Longcolt, the doctor will find another use for it. And for that few moments, it has a sensation of being much larger than .30cal.

What is really disturbing is while the doctor is doing the "exam" you feel hands on both shoulders. How does he do that?

 OUCH, OUCH, OUCH......................

In the past year I have had cameras up the arm and into my heart (twice) up the nose and down the throat (twice) into the bladder, and up the butt. I have been photographed more than the Queen. Today I had things cut off my shoulder and scalp (they looked suspicous) before Christmas I get my prostate reamed with a lazer. (really looking forward to that one) I sure hope that is a small lazer.

I expect my pee-pee to fall off any day now, not that I have used it much in a while.

See what you get to look forward to you young guys. This getting old ain't all it is cracked up to be.

Thats not old SA, those are just battle scars on that old old stock (person). You wouldn't fix a rifle in that condition would you? You would just ruin it. So chear up as you are worth more in this condition and them docs won't try to "fix" you.

Naw man, I am due for a re-furb; counter bore, new coat of blue, sanded stock, new butt-plate and all. As long as I can get a factory job and avoid Bubba, I will be fine, not collectable, but fine. :D

But, thanks anyway. (I think)

I told the dermitologist that took off my "moles" today that I was interested in a coligen job on my butt to match my gut.
He got dollar signs in his eyes and the poor thing deflated when I told him I was just kidding. The nurse got it right away and was rolling her eyes and groaning.

Do all doctors look like kids now?

There is an alternative to the grievances of getting old, however it is not recommended by many :o :o :o

Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
