Now there is a good use for spare ammo :)

Merry Christmas everyone.

Early Christmas morning will be spent sipping coffee and deciding which Mosins to bring to my parents house for brunch and the traditional Christmas Day shoot. (tradition I started 4 years ago)

Be safe everyone!

Merry Christmas from Albuquerque New Mexico. Busy wrapping presents for the kids and taking a breather to drool over all these nice mosins being posted up.

Looks like it's a white Christmas for us, it started snowing a couple of hours ago.

Merry Christmas to one and all on this great forum !

We went to our friends house for a Christmas Eve dinner touted as "living off the land dinner." The menu consisted of:

Rabbit
Elk
Deer
Trout
Wild Turkey (not the drinking kind guys)
Veggies

Everything they served was shot, caught or grown by them. And let me say that this was one great dinner---it was an open house and there were people coming and going for hours---even in our little town. And the best part were the guests, it was a fun time.

Best Wishes and Merry Christmas to everyone, I have a lot of fun here.

That is one on a very short list of things I miss from California. A large gun shop where I used to live had a huge dinner once a year that had only food that was caught, shot or trapped, yummy.
