Second M39
Second M39
Went to the gun show last weekend and bought ($360 out the door) another M39 for myself for Christmas (it called my name, really!). This one has an 1895 receiver, 1941 VKT barrel, wartime stock and an interesting stock cartouche of an L in a circle which is supposed to indicate V. Lindholmin Puusepäntehdas as the subcontractor. Bore is in beautiful condition as is the rest of the rifle with the usual dings in the stock one would expect from a battle rifle. One question I have is why the circular stock repairs? This one has two. Anyway enjoy the pics.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Very nice. Not fair you have two, when some of us have none.
M39 will be my next purchase for sure.

very nice, i paid 450 for my 1944 SAKO and am happy. i have no C&R Lic so i pay retail or private party.
Re: Second M39
Congratulations! I love those M39s! I'll be looking for a 1941 VKT in wartime stock myself. I'm being picky right now though. I got my Sako in January and my SKY in September.

Thanks all. Next Finn will be a SKY M39, an M28 or a 91. Merry Christmas to all!
