Man, great rifle. IF you are definitely going to sell it, and you already have 880rds of ammo on the way, sell it on GB for the maximum you can get, with the bayonet. Let the market decide it's value. Then, if genuine accuracy is your goal, get a M39 and be happy. If you are just looking for a fun cheap rifle to blast away with, take some of the proceeds and buy a $129is M91/30 or a M44 carbine and blast away. Having kids, and having to have sold off some rifles to pay bills, I understand needing the cash. But, you kinda have something you may never be able to get again, so think carefully about what you want to do. Just as long as you have A Mosin, you'll be happy.

That's what I was thinking. It's a rifle you won't come across ever again unless you seek it out. I'd think long and hard about selling it, especially since it was only $100. The draw of fast cash is hard to stuff down but that rifle will appreciate in value well over the average Mosin Nagant.

Upon inspection of your new photos, it looks like the disk reads: KKK/VR 149. I agree that KKK is Kone Kivääri Komppania, or machine gun company. The VR I am not sure of, however I do speak and read Finnish, so let me think on this for a while. If I have a revelation, I will post it.

I think that seriously adds even more value. Now it is pretty much unbeatable by anything.
Sorry I didn't see your comment before I posted. I agree with you.

No problem. Just to add the Viipuri Regiment was stationed in Lahdenpohja (also lost Karelian territory) at Huuhanmäki garrison. Not in the city of Viipuri like I first said.
