AK 47

Post by crwjr »

Well I had a hell of a day at my side job "gun shop" if you call that work   I had a nice WASR 1063 that I had a deal worked out with the boss so many Hours for the gun :D I should say "GREAT DEAL" ! A few hours into the day today a young man walked in and started to look at the AR's on the wall. He asked a few normal questions about them. He then looked over to MY gun that I never took off the rack and hid somewhere :very mad: He asked what is that rifle, I started to tell him about it. My boss looks at me with a grin on his face and a look like what the hell are you doing   Im not one to lie to costumers, I could have talked the gun down the guy didnt know any better. I also could have just told him it was sold but I didnt. I figured its still on the shelf and they sell them every day  so if I can make the sell I will. By the way not just the price I was getting it for but the sale price on the tag was a great deal for anyone. So anyway im letting him know all about it and he is getting more interested in the AK. a few minutes later he says well im going to go and I will be back with cash. I said to myself YES. :D :D most of the time I hear this they walk out and never come back for the gun they were looking at. BUT seeing how it is Friday the 13 today it proved for me a bad luck day couse he came back ten min, later with cash and bought my AK and a cleaning kit :very mad: :very mad: :very mad: :very mad: :very mad: :big shock: I then rang him up and sent him on his way it turned out to be his first firearms purchase so I felt kinda good to help him get into the gun thing :D when he left my boss looked at me and just busted up laughing his a** off   He then said I will get you another one  Happy weekend everyone :toast: :toast:

His first firearm? You should have walked him over to the .22 rifle section, see, you didn't and now you lost your AK, and you just know it's going to be one of the problem free WASR's  I hope he can handle it, the AK is made to be easy to master by anyone, but it can be intimidating for a first time shooter/gun owner.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Yes I would of loved to show him a .22 but the costumer is always right  I dont think he was a first time shooter, just turned 19 and first time to buy his own gun :) he was not interested in a little .22 at all we have an AR with a .22 upper and he wasnt impressed by it. I think he lives in town and probably wont be doing a lot of shooting but its a show off piece to his friends I would assume but I could be wrong :| anyway my AK is gone :very mad: :toast:

Sounds like your boss will get you another one.

Maybe an even better one!

CW, there'll be more AK's in your future. It sounds like this one served its purpose for you...your Boss respected and admired for selling it when he knew you wanted it. Plus, it was your first sell...congrats :) Having your Boss respect you is key to your job. And your job is key to having more rifles!

You did great. There will be more. Many more. :toast:

Good for you!!!

You just impressed your boss on your commitment to your job. I'll bet he will acquire an even nicer AK for you... With probably the same deal as before.
