Well The first show I went to had many mil surps. One guy had them at 158.00 and another guy had them at 178.00. Nice guns but nothing that grabbed me. Then I go to the second show and there it was! I had not seen one this old for sale in my area before. So……. I called my wife and she said would you like to buy your Christmas gift now. I said yup and walked away with it for 432.00. Had to pay tax . So here it is ….
I have to take it apart and get better pictures. I'll do it soon. Very happy today!

Wish we could get better shows around here, the last few have been sucktastic. Hardly any milsurps recently, just bubba stuff, tacticool stuff and over priced ammo. The last Roanoke show wasn't bad, just way over priced and there was no budging on prices.
I said I was an addict. I didn't say I had a problem.

My best friend and I went to that show last Saturday. I thought it was worth the almost two hour trip one way. Saw more milsurps at one show than I had at any of the others combined in the past year. You're right, the great majority of them were WAY over prices, and it seemed most of the guys with them didn't care if the sold one or not. I ended up taking home an ammo can and a bag of beef jerky if it that tells you anything. Even stripped AR lower receivers were overpriced.
Great looking Finn. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
I went to a show in Columbus Oh today. Prices here are coming down somewhat. Refurbished 91/30s for $99.00. But Tula and Hex (?) were 179 and 200 respectively.
Found two vendors selling spam cans for 90 and 95 dollars. So that is pretty good in my book.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

That is a cornerstone to the collection Mosin you found there, very nice

I'm not sure but I think someone tried to mess with it.
