Here's one that came in the mail the other day. These are a bit rarer up here. Last import of them was in 2003. I do like the Russians, but I find the Yugos are the ones I like the best for some reason. This is a "C" block rifle from the end of Military SKS production. They are a bit rougher around the edges than earlier ones. Tooling marks can be seen in a few places where work was needed.
The last run of the second C production is a good one to own. Not many were even made and exported to here in the US, let alone Canada.
Yours is a true Yugo original that is most likely unissued. Keep that puppy and savor it Sean!!!!!!
The commerce which maybe carried on with the people inhabiting the line you will pursue renders a knowledge of these people important ~Thomas Jefferson~ (to- Lewis and Clark)
I bought one in 2006 and stashed it away still with it's amazing amount of cosmoline intact. Brand new SKS rifles that are not Norinco don't come along that often so I figured I would save it. They do look pretty don't they
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

My brother has an A series that looks exactly like woodbeef's my pic doesn't do it justice but the thing looks just like it come off the assembly line.
I think the A series were virtually all new also.I have an A just like above. But, I also picked out a Z the same way. But, my Z has a far darker shade of wood.
Both are new unissued ones. I need to take some pics of this Z. It is really different in it's own right.
Its good to preserve a unissued gun if you have one I have a consecutive numbered set that have not been touched . Guys here in the US can still get them from Samco if you want to invest for the future. 99% of my guns have not been shot by me since I bought them I have guns to shoot so do not use them they are for admiring here on my wall .
