Upcoming anniversary present from my wife

Post by ponycarman »

My wife and I are approaching our third anniversary coming in december. She let me put something on layaway today for my present  .

It will be my first double :) .

Baikal mp220f . Made in russian and built like a tank . Exposed hammers, double triggers, cold hammer forged barrels, 2 3/4in chamber, and removable choke tubes. The steel butt pad worries me  . The pic isn't the best but it is the best I could do in the store.

Anyone else have any baikal shotguns? How do they hold up. It felt very stout from playing with it in the store. With the removable choke tubes it looks to be a pretty neat shotgun. It come with 4 chokes I believe.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.
