Scored at Gander Mtn today
Gander Mtn. had a sale today on Remington Golden Bullet bricks (525 rounds) for $19.99. I happened to get there before opening and got a number. They only had 90 boxes to sell and limit was 2 per customer. I bought my two boxes and was on my way. That is 3.8 cents per round. Best deal I've seen in a while.

That is a good buy! Maybe well start seeing more of this as things get back to something like normal.

Still nothing in the panhandle of FL unless you are retired and can sleep in line at Wal-Mart for the few boxes of .22LR they get each week. Which those folks promptly hoard or resell for profit. Ah...capitalism. Not improving here.

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Re: Scored at Gander Mtn today
I've been lucky enough to get some .22 WMR's lately for an average of about $13 for 50 rounds. Also found some .22 LR at Rural King for $7.99 for a box of 50. A little high, especially for lead round-nosed but it was there. It's the first .22's I've found in a month since I got some at Woodbury Outfitters. Can't wait for this friggin' madness to be over. I never thought I'd see the day it would be so hard to find .22 ammo.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you...

Last night at Gander Mountain they told me if I came in this morning they were having a Sunday special, and the first 100 people in line received a 10.00 gift card, and they were going to have more of this Remington 22 bulk packs. Here in Texas it's 23.99. I had to pass though since we were headed to church.
