Nice shoot Marlins are great guns. I've got a Marlin XT-22 and it is a nail driver. The longest range I've shot it on so far is a 100 yard one and I was nailing a 8" target with the iron sights with this rifle. I really like marlin guns they are really accurate and price to sell. I actually just put on the same scope on as the OP and am going to sight in it soon since squirrel season starts next month here in Ohio.

You can usually pick up a mod. 60 in a pawn shop, I haven't looked in a while but now y'all got me thinking I should start looking again. My local go to gun shop guy told me he can't keep an old Marlin 60 more then 3 or 4 day's. They are like Mosins you can't have too many of them. :2cents:

Here is my .22 collection. The Marlin model 60 is my newest addition. Finally got to take it out to shoot 2 weeks ago. Really love it. Also, made some speed loaders for the Marlin. They work really well.

I like those! I use Pex which is more rigid and you can't see through it, a pain if you think you may just have dropped a bullet in upside down.
