If I weren't tapped from the past few weeks I'd be all over one of them. Man I hope some of my items sell soon. Then I could pull the trigger on one of these!

Yes, kind of wish I had an extra $500.00 bucks after seeing that add.

This is the first time I have seen Aim offer any of these. They do come up with some nice collection sales every now and then.

Checking their site, the rifles are quickly getting scarfed up. Think I will have to pass on this one, but may regret. Hope someone on the forum gets one so I can see the pics. :vsad:

Aim told a member on another forum that these were imported from the Malaysia area.

I bought a matching 1945 BSA. It's in surprisingly good shape. Wood is dark, but in in nice condition. Black finish is mostly gone, and the metal has a nice patina to it. The bore is surprisingly good, and it flat out shoots. First three aimed shots at 50yd from the bench were touching, and dead nuts center of the target. First shot standing unsupported at 200yd hit an 8" gong.

Recoil is pretty stout. My brother-in-law was with me. After three shots from the bench, he was done. What a lightweight. LOL

Ask and you shall receive :D

For some reason, the right edge of the pictures gets cut off when I post them. No idea why.

That's my understanding. These were issued and used during the Malayan Emergency. They must have been imported quite a while ago, as the import mark is on the bottom of the barrel.

I just love the condition of it. I have a No 5 but the only thing I have shot in it was light handload with cast bullets so I don't know what the full recoil is gonna be yet.
