Here is a nice Buck that is right in front of our neighbor's house in Red Lodge, MT....taken today 8/29/13.
Bow season starts here on 9/7 with general back country hunting on 9/15. If this buck would qualify as "back country" I'm all set, just sit on my front porch with my M44. Although me thinks the Montana Fish and Wildlife may not consider this part of Montana's back country.
I had a nice one wandering around in my back yard a few weeks ago. My grandaughter (5) wanted to go out and pet it.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!
