Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

How early in the day did you get there? Our Wal Mart releases their ammo around 7:00 in the morning and, of course, I'm at work. I just happened to find some small boxes of American Eagle .22LR 40-ct. boxes on the way back from vacation at Woodbury Outfitters for $3.99 a box. Since they had a limit my wife and I each bought the max, largely because we haven't been able to find any for so long.
Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you...

“Freedom is the right to tell people what they do not want to hear.” George Orwell, English novelist, essayist, and critic, 1903-1950

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

I got there at noon, they had a couple of dozen boxes on the shelf, $6.50 each.
