Process it as complete BULLSHIT.

I haven't seen the link or the sellers name but I'm betting on it being Family Firearms or something like that. I'm also betting ,as he said he has papers, that these are Molots.

For that price they better not JUST be x-rayed, they should
fire x-rays as well.

Well, if he is playing with an old x ray machine then he has likely cooked his own balls by now, no second generation to carry on the business of bullshit.

 Maybe cooked his brain too... which would account for his pricing. :chuckles:

I think thAt guys posts them on gunbroker and all the auctions because I've seen tht a few times and they never sell. I ran into something similiar where someone wanted 199 bucks for a demilled parts m95, not even a special one.

Stopsign32v wrote:What is going on with some people!? :big shock: I found a posting on broker for a 1933 hex refurb with a post war stock and the buy it now was $645.

I messaged the seller asking if he would take any less for it and he replied with he was always open for offers. I replied saying that since you can find the exact same example at Gander or Cabellas for $179 that I would offer him $149 plus shipping. His reply was....

"I think you should buy one of their rifles. Mine are hand picked, x-rayed for safety, and documented with matching serial numbers. I am the # 1 Mosin Dealer in the US for a reason. Thank you again for your interest."

I don't even know how to process that. :?

Sounds like something the "Guns of our Fathers" guy would say. I've seen this idiot show up on GB but spends most of his time on the other auction sight. There are a few of these guys out there and they tend to sell these rifles to the unknowledgeable or stupid people. If anyone sees a rifle they like, PM one of the experts on this sight and talk it over with them. Don't post the ad link here though.
