Aaannd, now that he knows what he has, he has changed the description and raised the price to $600!

Straight grip stocks can be found on any M39 as they were used as spare parts later on. My "48" marked M39 is in a straight grip stock.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Listing is now "deactivated" so he either sold it or decided NOT to since it's not an M44 anymore, lol.
