Gun Show today

Post by ModelAUZI »

Well I went to a gun show in Dale City VA today and there they were. A crate of Mosins! I had to look. They were all run of the mill refurbished ones all round receivers. He was asking 179.00!!! Then he had some in individual boxes that were 169.00!! He said that Century was slowing down the amount they were importing. He said they used to get them for 80.00 and sell them for 120.00 He says they are now 140.00 and he is selling them for 179.00. Anyone else hear of this? :very mad: :very mad: :very mad:

Sounds about par for the course :vsad: but on the bright side, it makes the ones we have more valuable.

It seems about normal today. We have seen them in recent years for prices around a hundred bucks, and it stays in our mind, but if you think about it, they are still a bargain.

If it's under $225 then you are still getting a good deal, never mind what some other place is selling them for unless it's within driving distance of were you live. There are regional differences in price, here in my part of NY under $200 would be a good price.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Nice ! I went to one Saturday and there was not one single Mosin in the show. I was so disapointed I went on a pawn shop hunt around town afterwards and found a beautiful T53 that is now mine 8-)
