Well tonight I had to go out and pick something up and when I returned I saw two foxes working together to get a rabbit. I have never seen them work together like that.
Damn, I'll bet that's going to leave a mark! Probably hurt too!

I have never even seen two foxes at the same time in the same place before.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

It's the time of year when they are denned up and will hunt together.

About coyotes and IR; I have heard similar complaints from varmint hunters who got a cheap NVD, and either used the IR illuminator on it, or got that "IR floodlight" that's out there, and had the same problem without the IR illum.,they come right in, but scare off when the IR is used-they've had to go passive, which with a Gen. 1 device, is almost like using a regular scope at night-a very small help, indeed.

If I were serious into varmint hunting, I'd scrimp and save for a Gen. 3+ NVD, either a PVS-14, or a PVS-22. Well, maybe the THOR digital imager would work, or a thermal imager....<stares off into space, daydreaming...>I just sit and glass the fields occasionally. Really should go out with Skipper sometime, he's got some calls, and a 'dying rabbit' motion decoy I got him. Does pretty good with them, too. 8-)
