Regular ball 9mm will still punch a hole in someone and make them bleed, probably even kill them.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I agree, but we live close to neighbors on each side and I don't want a round to pass through our house and injure someone :big shock:

I was just at my LGS this morning. They had most any ammo I would want to buy except the bulk lots they used to have. And 22lr was a little pricey, but it was available.

Shotgun birdshot loads will do the trick, at close range that hit as a solid lump of lead.

Yeah ammo is definitely coming back. I picked up another 340 rounds of 9mm this week and an overpriced brick of 22lr. The guy told me the 22lr had lasted 4 days which is a big improvement over selling out in 30 minutes like they had been. He was supposed to only sell me on box, but told me if I walked out and came right back in he had a bad memory so I was able to get the 22lr and box of 9mm brass :big shock:

Primers have been scarce for some time now... happened in to one of the larger LGS today and he had a full shelving unit packed with primers.

Needless to say, I'll be eating Romen noodles and :spam2: for the rest of the week!

I picked up 2 50 packs of .22lr the other day for $5 each and the LGS had a good supply of other ammo, he even had the .38 s&w I needed for my revolver.. Loaded it when I got home and the Rounds chambered and did not fall through like the .32..lol

I will say its expensive stuff, $30 for a box of 50 but its not like I'm gong plunking with it anytime soon.

The AK/SKS ammo has dropped way back down since it was $400 per 1000 a few months ago. I even noticed spam cans of Mosin ammo coming down from their spike point of $120. As long as our politicians don't do anything stupid like bring back a gun control push or talk about going after the right to defend ourselves we should see prices continue to fall.....oh wait a minute

I hope so, but Biden, Obama, and Schumer have all said they plan to re-introduce gun control legislation. It's like a never ending assault on common sense
