Jumbo Perch

Took the girlfriend fishing last evening. And what happens? Of course she has only fished a few times in her life, and caught a White Perch that is twice as large as any of the thousand that I have caught.

An average adult White perch in Maine is 8-10" long, and just under 1/2lb. Of which, we caught many.

But the Jumbo catch of the evening went just under 15" in length, and just under 2-1/2lbs. Do you think she was just a little bit excited?

I'm not familiar with those but I can sure tell it's a biggie! Is it wallhanger size? Pass on my congrats !
