Did a little trading...

Post by BuckeyeSgt »

I had a MM Yugo that I was never very fond of, my wife bought it for me a couple of years ago as a gift and I never even took it out to shoot it. I had it up for sale or trade and got this offer. Thought what the heck. Always need a .22 beater rifle and this for my step daughter. She gets it later this year when she turns 21. She hangs out with the redneck boys in AR at school so she might as well have her own little girl gun. Still looking for a good used .380 so she can carry when she gets her CHL.

I gave my Marlin 60 to the ex for her to have at least something if SHTF so this replaces that one. Western Auto Model 120.
I didn't figure it was worthy of a good backdrop and I didn't have any bed photos. :chuckles: Next time I will get my feet in the photo. :chuckles:

Neat! Let us know how it does for you. Been looking at these and the beretta equivalent.
Let me make a short, open, blanket comment. There are no good guns. There are no bad guns. Any gun in the hands of a bad man is a bad thing. Any gun in the hands of a descent person is no threat to anyone--- except bad people. -- Charleton Heston

Guns are not good, they are not evil. Save those descriptions for the people holding the firearm. -- Unknown

So they took the model 60, doubled the number and called it a model 120. Cool. The best part is it is a old relianle Marlin!

Serial numbers were not mandated before 1968

There was something small they changed and would actually be closer to a Marlin 99. But ya it is basically a Model 60.

No serial number on this one either. So built before 1968.

Will do. I have the Buckmark as well. Eats everything. Only problem was a split case with that Remington Golden.

I never much worried about a Marlin .22 not shooting, I never had one yet that didn't shoot well.

Does your still have the "auto safety" in tact?? Mine would activate the safety every time you cycled the bolt, I can't tell you,how often I would forget that, line up a shot go to pull the trigger and... Nothing..lol
