I'm going to take some pictures and post them in the Military Rifle Forum. It's a May/1944 Winchester receiver and is chambered in 7.62x51 NATO with a brans new barrel. It was given to me by my uncle exactly the way you see it.
Cool. I had a Super Blackhawk. My BIL bought it from me when I was selling guns. It's scoped and the blue mount was chromed and glass beaded by a friend, because SS or matching mounts just weren't available back in the early eighties.
300gr?! I didn't even know there were 300 gr bullets for a .44.YOWZA  I used to load 154gr to hunt with.

Ok, I have one true tactical bubba  , somewhere I'm sure every purist does  This is my Saiga 12, I've changed the stock and added the 20rd drum, and a MD gas adjustment plug. Heavy when loaded yes, destructive, oh yea  . Working on the sighting system currently, but have not made a decision as of yet. And, I may add a muzzle brake just for giggles.

The drum works fine, but for normal playing, the normal 5 and aftermarket 10rd mags are alot easier to deal with. Besides a Browning Auto 5,this is my only other shotgun, and I'm not modifying a Browning

Yeah it's a blast, literally. They did have some frame failures on some of these but from what I've found researching them this gun wasn't one of them. It's accurate as hell too. The only thing is it's a cannon. I have a shoulder holster for it believe it or not and carry it in the woods for hog protection. Haven't seen one yet but they are here. Actually that's what this gun's job was in another life. I have a Marlin 1894 in .44Mag that's also in perfect condition and was the partner to this gun on hog hunts in California. The guy wouldn't sell me the Redhawk unless I bought them both. $800 for both. With a bunch of ammo and some of it was stuff he rolled with his own reciepe. Very hot.

Buffalo bore makes a 340gr +P+ for it believe it or not. http://gun-deals.com/deals/9923 I have about 1000rds of 180gr JHP PMC that I use to play with and a bunch of 240gr Wadcutter and JHP in all kinds of makes.

I want a drum magazine
That thing's crazy. And I highly recommend a laser sight if you can find one to withstand the recoil of a 12 ga.
20 rounds of 12 ga

Nope, no new scope. He's been using it for awhile now. Shoots the fleas off his, uh, tail, yea tail. If he missed, well, it might hurt just a tad bit!

Here are a couple of my modern 'fun guns'. Aren't all guns fun?

Took the quad rail thing off my AR and went back to the basic plastic grip. Don't really have anything to hang off it. Would not object to a light.

And you have to have a .45

WeldonHunter you certainly have a "cool" rifle in hat M-1

I noticed a couple of Smith and Wesson M&P 15's. Are these milspec or are these commercial?

I know parts of them are milspec, ban-one. I've always thought of them as middle tier off the rack. I know you can build one "better" for the same price if you don't mind playing the game and waiting for B/O parts and slow response times for a carbine that is 4 months out anyway.

Here are some of my fun guns. A couple aren't exactly new style, but are new made reproductions.

No, even my AR's are as issued, no modifications, no tacked on scopes or oddball magazines. All that extra crap just gets in the way, busts, or makes the weapon heavy to hump around.

I'll bet my AR with flashlight so I can identify my target at night and red dot so I can hit it is lighter than my as issued 91/30
Stripped down is nice, but so are modern conveniences. Otherwise we'd still be using DOS

I call that stuff "shoot me here" lights  makes picking up a target at night so much easier when they light themselves up
