No, No Bama. Not that one. Another in a Laminate. A BBQ refurb, but never fired since importation to the US.
I'lllook at that site though. Good Idea. Hey, Greatguns came on over here tonight.

However, you and Greasemonkey watch for the style I posted, and be ready to just hit the BIN if they have one. Harder all the time to find.
Oh yes, watch for the color I posted. Some fakes have appeared time to time of plain brown leather. Collars were not correct either.

I'm watching and hunting, but the wife forbids me to buy on auction sites, she and I had a slight disagreement on a Luger a few years ago. :big shock: I wanted it, it got rather high, well sure you all get were this is going.

Cost me 9 months of no buying anything gun related, But it sure does shoot nice though

I will find a sling

Well, they seem to be Californians. The rifles I sell are Ca.legal. Just HAVE to go to a FFL there. I'm in Iowa, any problem selling on there?

No, calguns doesn't care if out of state people join and sell...there are a few vendors on that site that are from out of state. Calgunners really hate people from out of state who won't ship legal things to us, just because we happen to be in CA. It's kinda annoying.

Do you have an FFL, or are you unlicensed? That makes a difference who you can ship to in CA, and if you'll need a CFLC number or not. Join up, and head over to the C&R forum there to ask any questions if you decide to sell on CGN, some of the members there know much more than I do about the legalities of out of state purchases...

I am a private individual. As I understand it, an SKS other than the Yugo 59/66 with grenade launcher I can ship to a CA. FFL01.

Yep, grenade launchers are a no-go here. Also, CA is funky with the C&R laws, even if a long gun is on the C&R list, if it isn't 50 years old it must go to an 01 FFL. I know 03 and 06 FFLs are exempt from needing a CFLC number, I'd assume private individuals are as well but that something to check.

I would have to ship to an 01FFL only! Then it has to sit in a Cali jail I've heard.

Depends on what it is. Russians and 1957-1960 Romainians can go to C&R license holders. Yugo M59s, and 59/66s (without the laucher, or with the Cali-approved muzzle brake), chinese SKSs, and any other SKS that isn't 50 years old must go to an 01.

I've always kind of discounted the Romanian SKS's... After seeing yours I may have to reconsider getting one.

A close friend of mine in CA is an 03 holder.
He had to have a 1556 Russian he bought on Gun Brokers sent to an FFL 01. He told me in state his 03 was valid, but coming from another state he still
had to have the Russian sent to an 01FFL. Has some thing to do with CA registration of guns coming there I think is what he told me. Cannot remember for sure.

My FFL here told me I as an individual can ship direct to an FFL out there on these plain SKS C&R rifles. But he cannot even ship to an 01 himself. Unless, he
applies for and gets his business registered in CA, which he refuses to do. I guess CA has some rules of their own that have to be dealt with.

He was wrong, it's perfectly legal to ship a 1956 Soviet SKS to an 03. The long gun registration doesn't take effect until 2014, and the courts might strike it down before then. 03 and 06 FFLs are exempt from the CFLC system.

From what I understand, it isn't difficult for an out of state FFL 01 to register with the CFLC system, and gettng a CFLC shipment number doesn't take long either. I'm not an FFL though, that's just what I've heard.
