Got my AR back

Post by millman »

As a Christmas present, my BIL cerakoted the upper and lower receivers, and the barrel on my AR. He did a nice job and I think it looks pretty good. As a bonus, I also got to try out the bayonet I have had for a while. It is frustrating to have an accessory that you can't try out, cause you don't have your gun on hand. :)

Thanks. Yes, I got the lower receiver, and slowly picked up parts as they came available. (read, I found deals on them :) ) As a result the colors were different, and it looked a little odd. The cerakote fixed that and it is tough as hell.

I'm not a black rifle fan, but I do like it, kinda has the retro look compared to the over done ones I see, and a bayonet is cool. :toast:

I'm not really a black rifle guy either. I couldn't pass up the deal on the lower, and since I had it I couldn't just let it sit around. I don't like all the rails and stuff, so I went this route. It is even wearing a vintage Swedish Mauser sling. :) :geek:
