I've ordered a number of small items from Liberty Tree. Great company!

Thanks for the heads up. I check the site every couple of weeks. I always liked the Naval slings (because their black) but I never thought I would be able to easily buy one without hunting and posting wanted ads. So I just went and ordered 2 of them from Liberty Tree! Since I was placing an order, I needed to make it worth while, so I added a PPSH sling for one of my carbines and a Finn sling swivel for the day when I buy another Finn rifle and it's missing one!

Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

JYD, the last two 91/30's I've picked up from AIM didn't come with slings and none of the Molot M44's I picked up a few months ago came with slings either. :x

Molot I can understand, who knows what's going on witth them, but Aim's rifles came out of a crate, and these rifles always had slings in the past. Makes you wonder what happened to them.

My bet is the Russians & Ukrainians have figured out how to sell them on Ebay. I was looking on there last night and the first half of the listings for 91/30 slings are all from the Ukraine or Russia!

The Molot 91/30 PU I recently bought had no sling, so I did need one. The WWII ammo pouch I saw while going through the listings, and could not pass it up. I was so pleased with the sling I got I decided to get another for a spare and thats when I saw the Naval infantry slings were a new item. Never got one of those over the years so it made the choice easy the 2nd time looking. Probably should have grabbed a PPSH sling, and probably will after payday. Also could use some stripper clips I saw there!

I hope the heads up helps the membership and our sponser, as much as I would like, I can not buy it all! :big shock:

It's always appreciated Rob, a lot of the new Mosin owners also didn't get slings with their rifles,

Lots of dealers seperate them at the first chance and sell them seperately. Make more money that way. Bill :D

Only one of my rifles came with all accessories and sling. It is my only 91/30. Every other Mosin I have I bought from private sellers except for the Molot M44 from AIM, which only came with the cleaning kit (sans pouch).

The cleaning kit pouches have hundreds of uses, I am using them to hold all sorts of gear.

BTW Liberty Tree has Soviet Naval Infantry slings on their site today. Says only several in stock. I just ordered one, and it is a neat variance to have on hand for those who do not already have one.

Do you have a soviet naval 91/30 to go with it? Bill
