A 1941 Husqvarna arrived today.

Post by OLD OUTLAW »

Picked this one off at Guns America. Should say I stole it actually. Cannot for life of me figure how this went totally unnoticed. I got pics from seller on the day before Easter. He told me his Reserve. So I bid it up to $280 and became high. Then Sunday night with one minute to go, I bid his Reserve
of $325. Bingo! That night he asked if I reload. Said yes. Well, got it about 3:30 today. There were 52 pieces of Norma Brass, partial box of Nosler Match Comp. Bullets, and a full box of Sierra 140 Match King bullets. There was a few bucks of stuff for free.
I am more than just happy with this one!!

That's what I thought. :) But, if I listed it on GB, I might just double my cost. If you take off the value of the freebies he sent me my actual cost would go down to under $300. The Match Kings cost $30 to $33 per box. Probably $18 worth Nosler. Norma brass a good $1 each is $52. My shipping was $30. Total $355. Nor take off for the above items. Round down to perhaps $100. Means I got it for $255 if you look at it close.

Defiantly looks alot better there than in the photos you sent earlier, :Drool1:  Sell it to Sheepie, give him something to drool over  Of course for what you paid, I'd probably store it away for a while :shifty: , and at least shoot it.

Makes me want to move mine up in the line of rifles to be cleaned and shot this spring, problem is all I have left is 1000 gallery loads to shoot in it.

Wow, what a beautiful rifle. The wood on the stock looks like what I have on my Hungarian and Polish M-44's. Makes me want to look at Mausers a little bit. OMG, is this what happens? Thought I was only stuck on Mosins :big shock: :big shock: :big shock: I have more than a few Mosins. Am I destined to creating an armory?

The Swedish Mauser is like a precision tool for punching holes in paper from great distance and having a quarter cover the holes.
