AIM has M38 MO's..... NOT!!!
Just sat down at the computer after about 3 hours or running around and spot an email from AIM that they have M38 MO's. So I log on and they are gone - four hours after the email was dated. Well, probably Molot's (ok with me) and will probably see them on GB for $250+ in a couple of weeks. I know a guy out there that buys them 1/2 dozen to a dozen at a time.

Are you sure the email was for M38's? The one I got was for 91/30's and they were out within the hour on the site.

I feel for all you guys (& gals) working hard to build a collection in today's market. Not like it was even a few short years ago. I miss the days when you could walk into your LGS & select one of many M38's, M44's or anything else for around $100 OTD.

Ron it was never like that around here, the LGS at the time catered to the Remchester crowd, a Mosin in their shop would have been treated like a mouse in a five star restaurant. We had a much better selection on line than is available now, and at cheaper prices.

You're right. Must have had M38's on my mind.No_0ne wrote:Are you sure the email was for M38's? The one I got was for 91/30's and they were out within the hour on the site.
Anyway, whatever they had, they sold out quickly!

There e'mails are fairly useless anyway, by the time you get it and go to their site, it's gone. The only success i have had is a quick tip from you guys or just checking their site often and getting lucky !!!!
As far as LGS most here in S. Ga never even heard of a Mosin, Budwieser and Mountain Dew yes !!!!!

You have to click the "Notify me" link on the individual listing for each product you wish to have emailed to you. In addition, after the mails are sent, you must once again click the "Notify" link again after the product is sold out. Also, if they have only a few examples listed with many email requests, they sometimes just skip the email process as the stock will be sold out in minutes. As others have said, frequent monitoring of the site is usually your best option.
They did send out 2 different emails, one for the MO's and one for the hex receivers. No M38's from AIM in a good while now.
