Very funny, I think today will be a good day to do a video featuring an M38, a Ukrainian refurb, I have not done a refurb M38 yet I think. Maybe later, I was up late and am taking my time building up steam this morning.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

I look forward to the M38 video. Just want to make a comment about the import marks. I own nothing but Russian refurb guns, so all of them have import marks. Some are more obtrusive than others. 4 out of 7 of my M91/30 rifles are ATI imports. They put all their stuff on the receiver just above the stock line and the import marks are very suttle. I like that; makes the rifle more attractive to me. Here are the marks on my only M38 which aren't bad, however, the import serial number is in one place (on the side of the receiver) and the importer information is on the forward portion of the barrel near the bottom. I'm not sure I care for that, but it is similar to other import marks on other non-Mosin Nagant rifles that I have. The Molot marks are too noticable and not suttle enough for my tastes. Not even sure TGI, Knoxville TN is even in business anymore.

Yeah I think TGI is still around. I got a few M91/30s from AIM or Widener's last year that had the TGI Stamp.

It's up, I used a pair of 1943 M38's so you get a two for the price of one video.

It should as it's a public video, but you can find it as a sticky at the top of this boards Mosin forum :)
