Gun show

Post by desdem12 »

Went to a smaller show today. Not one mosin bubbad or other wise. A few milsurps but not to much. Ended up with a m224 mortar ammo can and a bag of once fired 8mm mauser brass for the gew 88 45rds fpr a total of 30 shmos. I found a bunch and I mean a good bunch of Chinese tok ammo of steel case. 20 bucks for 50. Passed on it. This is the only steel cased ammo for a tok I have ever seen and have not shot any of It ever. :D

Well, at least you didn't leave empty handed, or munching beef jerky.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.
Don't hit at all if it is honorably possible to avoid hitting; but never hit soft.

No jerky but I am seeing a disturbing trend. There is getting to be to much fru fru stuff for women. Clutters up the place and not much of it is worth looking at. I have seen cooking crap and soaps and other stuff, non collectable stuff. I am all for bringing women into the shooting world but not at the cost of a bath soap show with guns.

That wasn't bath soap, it was "fragranced bore soap". It's for making your evil weapons of war smell like a fresh spring rain in a meadow filled with lavender...
