Thank You Governor Phil Bryant (R-MS)

Post by vblue42 »

Add my state to the growing list of states that says: "No Federal Gun Control In My State" MS governor Phil Bryant said he plans to pass law that makes it illegal for the federal government to enforce new gun control laws if they are passed by congress or the president. Thank you Mr. Governor.

So we just need to get some Oregon Sheriffs into MS and we could have a super state =D

Governor Bryant just went up a notch in my book. My local gun club has been keeping the membership abreast of this and other proposed actions. Glad to be living in MS.

I like the trend that has been sweeping the Nation the last few years: that is States are thumbing their noses at Federal law. Not all the laws I agree with (like medical marijuana) but it's nice to see more local control to local issues.
