GREAT NEWS !!! C & R Has Arrived

Post by rideandslidejim »

Had some great surprize when i got home from work tonight, my C & R was in the mailbox. :D :D :D :D Took about a month and a half. One question, the top half ( maybe a little more ) and the bottom part has a wallet card it says to cut out, should i separate the two sections.

Congratulations :toast:  :ani-pop: . As for the wallet card, I just left everything the way it was, but some of these c&r veterans may know better.

It doesn't matter if you cut off the wallet card, but DO NOT sign the original, sign only the copys as the copys require your original signature.
Leave it as it is. The ages have been at work on it and man can only mar it.

Just the top part signed , try to use a color pen that isn't the same as the copy.

I sent the whole sheet out to the dealers I wanted to , I doubt most dealers really care they just want the license

* Also in order to email it off to companies I went to Staples and had them put it on my usb thumb drive(I think that's what it's called) so I could get a copy on my computer to email off, which was a lot easier than physically mailing it out to people

Great News now we know you will be broke all the time from buying refurbs. One less to compete against for other rifles. Get ready to be eating Raman Noodles and peanut butter (but with the price that has gone up to you may not be able to afford that) and be waiting for the bank statement. Ha ha! Go getem Tiger! Congratulations! I had a C&R, and let it expire when Obama got elected, but My MNs are lonely and need some new company, so I'm thinking of re applying. About how long did the whole process take, from when you initially cut your check and mailed it in to the BATFE?
Thanks so much in advance for your reply!

I wonder if you can just renew it. After 4 years will you have to reapply all over?

It's a three year license, and so long as you have not acquired a record since the last time you had one you are good to go again as many times as you want.

90 days!!! :big shock: :big shock: Mine only took 2 1/2 weeks... I received it just before Christmas.

P.S.- I've used my C&R twice so far for online purchases... boy is it fun! Especially when they arrive at your door!! :Drool1:
