Norinco SKS....

Here is our Norinco SKS....

I picked this one up in October for 150 bucks, it was very dirty and the guy wanted it gone so I traded some motorcycle helmets (60 bucks) and 90 bucks cash for it. Took it home and cleaned it for 2-3 hours. When I first chambered a dummy round it got stuck real good. I had to kick the bolt to get the round back out!! It was filthy. It cleaned up very good. I do have some before pics, i'll have to transfer off of my ipod to the main computer.

All numbers match. I did however have to buy the bayonet off of amazon to complete it.

My first firearm purchase was an unissued SKS that was BEAUTIFUL about 13 years ago. I sold it to a guy for twice what I paid, but regretted it badly. I swore i'd get another one and this one fit the bill nicely.

The pawn shop guy who I normally deal with was gone for the day, in his place was a younger kid, around 25ish. It was tagged 300, I told him grabagun.com had them for mid 200's in better shape, and showed him the web page on my ipod. He said...."man we have it marked up real high, its so dirty it has sat here forever, no one wants to buy it," so I asked how much he said 150!!! SOLD. Got what I did for the helmets and put the rest of my cash down. I took 200 with me just to be on the safe side, glad I didn't need but 90 of it..and so was the wife lol.

I agree it was a steal :devil2:

I bet he was, he probably got handed his own tooth brush and told to go scrub the head until he would be willing to eat stew off the floor.

without a doubt lol. We took it out as well as our mosins to the range....NO LUCK, standing room only and a waiting list?????

This sucks and I wish it would end. If ammo is scarce why are these fools out shooting it all up at the ranges lol. :very mad:

At that price I would sooner burn money, it would be cheaper.
